Team Teal is a powerful initiative uniting the harness racing community across New Zealand and Australia. For six weeks, from February to mid-March, reinswomen wear teal pants during races to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. Every win by a reinswoman contributes to fundraising efforts, supporting:

• The Research Nurse Grant Program, which places specialist nurses in clinical trials.
• The Survivors Teaching Students Program, where ovarian cancer survivors educate medical students about the disease's signs and symptoms.

By participating in Frocks at the Trots, you’re directly contributing to this vital cause while enjoying a vibrant and glamorous event.

    • The Winner, Runner-Up, and Best Contemporary entrant from each heat win entry into the final at Addington Raceway in Christchurch on Friday, 14th March.
    • Their prize includes flights and accommodation to Christchurch (excluding Amberley entrants, who are local to Christchurch).
  • 🌟 Grand Prize at the Final: The overall winner at the grand final will receive flights and accommodation at the luxurious Peninsula Beachfront Resort at Mooloolaba, Australia!
• A Day of Fun and Connection: Spend the day at the races with friends and family, enjoying great company, thrilling harness racing, and a catered lunch—all included with the $30 entry option.

  🐎 Cambridge Raceway – Saturday, 27th January
  🐎 Amberley – Tuesday, 6th February
  🐎 Gore – Friday, 16th February
• Entry Fee:
  • $10 (fashion entry only, includes a donation to Team Teal)
  • $30 (fashion entry + catered lunch and access to the racing area, includes a donation to Team Teal)
• Theme: “A Summer Touch of Teal”—outfits must incorporate teal.

🎽 Categories and Prizes:

• Heat Winners: Flights and accommodation to Christchurch for the final (excluding Amberley).
• Final Winner: The grand prize of flights and accommodation at the Peninsula Beachfront Resort at Mooloolaba, Australia will be awarded to the winner at the final.
